Mission Statement :
Oak Ridges Skating Club is a family oriented skating program that was started in the 1970’s by a group of volunteer mothers who wanted to provide a place in the community for children to learn to skate. Programs are offered following the Skate Canada guidelines for beginners through to the STARSkate level. We provide an adult program as well as a Power skating program.
The Club operates in a non-competitive manner where the skaters and coaches become good friends encouraging each other in their skating abilities. Some of our senior skaters have now gone on to become Skate Canada qualified coaches.
