Sue :
Sue has coached figure skating for the past twenty five years, and she offers lessons in free skate, skills, dance, and power skating. She has passed her gold dances, silver free skate, and completed her Level 1 Skate Canada program including theory, technical and practical programs. Sue has completed a two year full time fitness instructor's course at George Brown College. She loves to coach skating, and she is committed to communicate effectively, motivate, and helps to develop the skaters potential in a enjoyable and fun manner.
Fiona began skating at 1 ½ years old. With her first private lesson at age 7, it became evident that her love of the sport, coupled with an uncompromising talent, grasping the technical and artistic side, would lead to a promising career. Her ability to impart the joy she found on ice to her students is one of the numerous coaching benefits she gives her students.

Competitive skater for over 30 years and continues today.
Adult Canadian National Championships:
- Silver medalist in Ladies Gold Free Skate (2006).
- Bronze medalist in Ladies Gold Free Skate (2005).
- Fourth in Gold Ice Dance (2005).
Invitational Skating competitions:
- Gold medallist at Max Gould Memorial Ladies Free Skate (2006).
- Many other competitions at Scarborough and Oxbridge (2000 to 2007).
Carnival and featured numbers at Scarborough and U. of T. FSC (2000 to 2007).
Amateur Skating achievements:
- Novice Canadians Ice Dance (1983 and 1984).
- Silver Free Dance (Competitive), Novice Variation (Competitive) and Novice Free Skate (Competitive).
- Gold Free Skate, Gold Dance, 5th figure.
Medal recipient at sectionals, numerous invitational competitions in free skating, dance, and precision skating (1976 to 1984).
Qualifications:
Skate Canada Certified Coach since 1998.
NCCP Certified Technical Level 2 & Practical Level 1, Theory Level 3.
Certified in first aid. – St John Ambulance.
Coaches’ beginners to advanced figure skaters of all ages, both privately and in group.
National Coaching Certification Program at Seneca College, Centennial College, and The Arc Skating Academy.
Earlier education - Earl Haig High School in the Elite Sport Course for gifted athletes.

Completed 4 Toronto Half Marathons, placing in the top 10% of all women in 2006.
Jenny is a Skate Canada Level 2 Certified Professional Coach. She has over 10 years of coaching experience throughout several York Region Figure Skating Clubs. She has been coaching skaters of all abilities both privately and in groups at Bond Lake for 7 years. Jenny has spent the past 5 years training skaters for the Special Olympics at the regional and provincial level. Jenny co-ordinates the CanSkate sessions at Bond Lake Skating Club and manages the computerized reporting system that is now in place. She worked with our Intro level skaters to choreograph an ice show number for the King City Ice Show.
Competitive history includes: Canadian-Synchro-Championships 1991, sixth place finish; COSIC Sr. Silver Dance 1st place finish, 4th place finish at All Ontario's. Test Qualifications include: Partial Gold Dance, Jr. Silver freeskate, Skills Class 4, Silver Artistic, 6th Figure Test.
